Find love at Asda - we're holding speed dating events in our cafes

If you’re looking for love this Valentine’s you might just find it at the supermarket.

We’re holding speed dating sessions on Monday 13th February in the Asda cafe at 80 of our stores.

For one night only we’ll be giving our cafes a romantic makeover to encourage single shoppers to mingle with each other between 7pm and 9pm.

It’s not as far-fetched as you might think – many of our colleagues have already found love at Asda. And our latest Pulse of the Nation survey found nearly half (47%) of customers have met potential partners while shopping.

Our survey also showed best way to tell if someone is single is to see what they’re buying – with meals for one being a dead giveaway.
