We were delighted to win “Best Family Supermarket” at Tommy’s Awards last year – and we’re in the running again for this year’s awards!

Tommy's Awards

It’s the fourth year in a row that we’ve won the title – and with your help we’re hoping we can make it a fifth! We’ve also been nominated for awards for Best Maternity Retailer, Best Online Baby Retailer, Best Baby-Friendly Chain Café or Coffee Shop, Best Baby Skincare Product and Best Baby Changing Facilities.

The awards recognise companies and organisations that help to make a difference to the lives of parents across the UK and you have until 17th February to cast your votes. The winners will be announced at the Tommy’s Awards Ceremony on 21st March.

Please cast your vote here and ask your family and friends to vote too! And as a thank you for voting Tommy’s will enter you into a prize draw to win a fantastic money-can’t-buy Peppa Pig prize.

We’re aiming to raise £100,000 during the Asda Baby and Toddler Event for baby charity Tommy’s and you can help us support them – and parents across the UK – by stocking up on baby essentials.

To celebrate our latest event Tommy’s has been asking mums to share advice and tips they’d give to new mums – and here’s what they said #formumsbymums:

Our August Asda Baby and Toddler Event is now on in stores and online – with great deals on nappies and wipes, baby clothes, food, buggies, and more.

We’re aiming to raise £100,000 during the Asda Baby and Toddler Event for baby charity Tommy’s and you can help us support them – and parents across the UK – by stocking up on baby essentials.

Tommy’s spoke with mums across the UK about motherhood and those friends and family who helped support those women throughout their pregnancy and into the first stages of being a mum. Watch the video here:

A percentage of sales from the discounted baby products featured in the event will be going to Tommy’s to help fund vital medical research into why things go wrong during pregnancy and birth.

We’re proud to sponsor the Courage Award at Tommy’s Baby-friendly Awards to show our support to families across the UK.

Tommy's Courage Award

Tommy’s Individual awards are very special accolades and awarded to some extraordinary people.

And this award celebrates a couple or individual who has had a difficult road to parenthood but made it through this difficult time in their lives with outstanding courage.

This year’s Courage Award went to Sam and Pete Hawkins from Bedfordshire after being nominated by their friend, Lynne Reed. Watch them collect their award here.

Sam, Pete and Jessica Hawkins

Sam, 39, and Pete, 47, started trying for a baby 21 years ago, soon after marrying in 1991. Despite exploring every avenue, including two years of treatment at a local hospital and two rounds of IVF, they suffered ten miscarriages. They were eventually informed that it was unlikely they would ever have children.

Then in August 2008, Sam fell pregnant naturally. The pregnancy was far from straightforward, requiring a scan every fortnight and at 14 weeks the decision was made to have a cervical stitch.
