Working in partnership for our Tickled Pink Campaign
Now in its 17th year our ground-breaking Tickled Pink partnership in aid of Breast Cancer Campaign and Breast Cancer Care has raised more than £30 million to date!
Breast Cancer Campaign
In 2012 Asda’s funding continued to support innovative breast cancer research, by enabling Breast Cancer Campaign to fund the projects across the UK with the greatest potential to save and improve lives. It has also sponsored another scientific fellowship – bringing the total number of Asda-funded fellows to six, worth more than £3million.
Tickled Pink is a founding partner of Breast Cancer Campaign’s Tissue Bank, which has provided scientists with a source of human tissue they have never had before, to fast track research from laboratory to clinical practice – and into new improved treatments for people with breast cancer.
Tickled Pink funding has been used to advance our knowledge of breast cancer and, with the continued support of our customers and colleagues, will play a significant role in saving lives and curing the disease in the future.

Breast Cancer Care
In 2012 you helped us to provide information or support to over three million people affected by breast cancer either online, over the phone, in person or via expert publications. Without the support of Tickled Pink we would not have been able to reach so many people affected by breast cancer in local communities all across the UK.
Our unique face to face services supported over 22,000 people affected by breast cancer. These services included; Younger Women’s Forums, Lingerie evenings and Living with Secondary Breast Cancer courses. Also our clinically trained, specialist nurses were able to answer over 13,000 calls via Breast Cancer Care’s free, national Helpline.
This funding is helping Breast Cancer Care get closer to achieving its vision, which is for every person affected by breast cancer to receive the best treatment, information and support.
