A big thank you to all our fantastic customers and colleagues who’ve helped make this year’s Tickled Pink such a big success.

Everyone’s phenomenal effort means we’ve now raised a total of £51.5 million over the last 20 years to support the work of Breast Cancer Care and Breast Cancer Now.

This year’s charity campaign was bigger and better than ever – and we’ve loved seeing the fun and inventive fundraising activities that took place in our stores and local communities across the country. Check out this video which shows our colleagues saying thank you to everyone who took part:

From sponsored head shaves to cycle rides and fancy dress to fashion shows, colleagues and volunteers organised some incredible events to support Tickled Pink, and got customers involved in fun games in stores too.

Here are just a few examples of how our colleagues have been raising money for Tickled Pink:

200 Greater Manchester colleagues teamed up for an epic 100 mile relay walk taking in 28 stores in the area.

Our Chesser Community Champion Gary Anderson helped launch Tickled Pink in Scotland by paddling across the Forth in a dragon boat.

A group of ‘Pink Ladies’ – Community Champions in the Bristol area – teamed up for a charity roadshow across the city where they played games, music and held loads more brilliant Tickled Pink activities in five different Asda stores.

Popular checkout colleague Alnashir joined in the fun by having his hair dyed pink in the Tonypandy store. He pulled in quite a crowd!
