Get your Text Santa hats and T-shirts at Asda and send us a photo to publish on Facebook to encourage others to get behind ITV’s big Christmas charity campaign.

Customers and colleagues have been helping to raise awareness of the campaign by posting comments and photos of themselves and their families wearing their Text Santa hats on Twitter and Facebook. All profits from the hats and T-shirts go to the nine charities supported by the ITV appeal – here’s where the money goes.

Great Ormond Street Hospital – one of the great causes the campaign is supporting – posted Facebook photos of young patients like Ben Costa (left) wearing their Text Santa hats.

Narry Paynlinson, tweeting as @Team1Dizzleee, posted a pic on Twitter of One Direction wearing their Text Santa hats, and tweeted: "I have one of those text Santa hats, we are all wearing them at school tomorrow for charity :-) http://pic.twitter.com/pfXlOSiC

Samantha Dodds posted on Facebook: “I got to 2 text Santa hats yesterday. My son has put his on straight away this morn!”

Brian Timmins said on Facebook: “i have been walking round Asda for an hour doing our shopping with my TEXT SANTA hat on.”

Sarah Brown – @bluegemini37 – sent a tweet to Text Santa TV presenter Philip Schofield (@schofe) saying: "My lovely nephews and niece Jake, Adam and keira-Lynn r supporting text Santa ! They luv the hats! http://yfrog.com/nx5hhyj Here’s the yfrog photo she sent:

Kayleigh Lauder tweeted: “@schofe the amount of people going around my local high street wearing text santa hats is brilliant :D”

Chelsea Barlow from Merthyr Tydfil, tweeting as @chelseashnicky, posted a pic of her little cousin picking up her Text Santa hat on a shopping trip to Asda: “My bby cousin larnie in her text santa hat @Schofe ! X http://yfrog.com/j2m61fkj”
