- George’s Red Hot Value range helps families that are feeling the pinch
With fears around unemployment and holding onto jobs, customers have told Asda they want to look their best at work without breaking the bank – and show their boss they’re in it for the long-haul.
So George is giving customers more spending power with its Red Hot Value range this week as families feel the pinch in the new year.
As the fear of unemployment increases, many households will opt to save rather than spend – but with George’s red hot deals on suits and essentials customers can feel confident at work and any all important interviews.
Asda’s income tracker shows that families had £6 a week less to spend in November, the national VAT rise is looming and Asda’s national survey shows people are worried about job security in 2011.
An Asda spokesperson said: “We have fantastic prices on fashion and essentials in January for the whole family. And if you’re hoping to make that extra effort at work to show the boss you’re in it for the long-haul, or even if you have that all important interview coming up, we have great offers on our suit, shirt and tie ranges.”
“And by keeping prices as low as possible through our Red Hot value range we are showing customers they can still be stylish for work and look their best without going overboard on spend.”
The Red Hot Value range is being launched now, with the men’s suit offer in store – buy a £25 suit and get a £7 shirt and tie set free is live now until Wednesday 5 January. Or buy the suit from George.com and get £5 off.
Also in the range are joggers and sweats from £4, and tees from £2.50, for those hoping to get fit in the new year – launched on 6 January. The Red Hot Value range is across ladies, men’s, kids, essentials and footwear by Monday 3 January.
