We're cutting the price of unleaded and diesel by up to 2p per litre!

Asda cheapest for fuel

Great news – we’re cutting the price of fuel by up to 2p per litre!

From tomorrow (Tuesday June 25), you’ll pay no more than 130.7p per litre for unleaded and 134.7p per litre for diesel when you fill up at any of our 218 forecourts across the country.

We’ve reacted quickly to the latest reductions in wholesale cost by immediately passing the savings on to you.

The latest cut comes hot on the heels of a study by the Centre for Economics and Business Research (CEBR) which found that the average family could save up to £50 per year by filling up at Asda.

The report also found that we consistently have the lowest petrol prices of any retailer – our prices have fallen by up to 3.3p per litre in May from April.

We’re still the only supermarket with a national price cap on fuel – so you know what you’ll pay at an Asda pump regardless of where you live. Prices at some other retailers vary by up to 6p per litre depending on where you are.

Andy Peake, Petrol Trading Director, said: "We’re giving our customers the opportunity to fill up their cars with lower-priced fuel, putting much-needed cash back in their pockets.

“Our national price cap benefits everyone across the country, meaning that no-one filling up at Asda will be forced to pay a premium for their fuel because of where they live.”
