We're cutting another 2p off the price of petrol and diesel

We’re cutting another 2p off the price of petrol and diesel – the fourth time we’ve brought down the cost of fuel in the past month.

From tomorrow (Wed 16 May) you’ll pay no more than 132.7p for a litre of unleaded and 137.7p per litre of diesel at any of our 196 Asda filling stations. It means we’ve been able to reduce the price of fuel by 8p in the last four weeks.

Filling up at Asda

We know the cost of transport is one of the biggest pressures on household budgets – so we always aim to lead the way when get the chance to cut prices because of a drop in the global cost of oil.

And unlike other retailers we do everything we can to reduce prices for all of our customers wherever you live.

Research taken from PetrolPrices.com shows that some retailers get away with charging their customers more for fuel – as much as 8p a litre more – in towns without an Asda nearby.

We launched our new petrol price comparison site in March, powered by independent price checker www.petrolprices.com, to enable drivers across the UK to find the lowest priced fuel before they fill up.
