Try these tasty new cupcakes from Kizzy - Mini Baker of the Year

These tasty new “Jungle Jumble” mini cupcakes from The Fabulous Bakin’ Boys go on sale at Asda today – designed by a nine-year-old Kizzy McDonald.

The schoolgirl from Market Drayton was named “Mini Baker of the Year” in a competition run by the baking company for her cupcake idea which was inspired by her love of fruit salad.

Kizzy says: " I love fruit and I love making my own different combinations for fruit salad so I thought it would be a good idea to put it in a cake."

The new cupcakes are made from banana-flavoured sponge topped with a mango, pineapple and orange-flavoured topping.

Her mum, Wendy says: “She was over the moon when she won! She loved the whole experience.”

As part of her prize Kizzy got to spend a day at Fab HQ cooking and tasting the cupcakes. She also chose the name and the packaging.

Kizzy’s Jungle Jumble cupcakes will be in selected Asda stores from today (7th August).
