Try these delicacies from South Africa and South America

We’re always listening to feedback from our customers so when we started getting requests for more South African food we added Boerewor sausages to our range.

These delicious meaty Pork and Beef sausages seasoned with a blend of herbs and spices are inspired by the South African delicacy using from British meat.

Aunty Joan’s Boerewors are made using a family recipe handed down through generations and are available in 50 of our stores for a trial period. They cost just £2.58 per pack or two for £4 – give them a try and tell us what you think.

Customers also told us they wanted to see new, different quality cuts of red meat at Asda to cook at home. That’s why we’ve started stocking Picanha steak – a premium rump cap. The cut is a delicacy in South America and our picanha steaks are sourced from British and Irish beef.

It’s available prepacked in our top 100 stores for just £14 per kg and is a delicious addition to our wonderful Butcher’s Selection range.
