Enjoy a taste of summer with our series of in-store sampling events

To spread the word about the quality of our fresh fruit and veg, we’re taking some of our favourite summer produce on the road for you to taste.

We take great pride in the fruit and veg we sell, and we’re so confident of its freshness that we’ll refund and replace (or give you a double refund if you’re shopping online) any item you’re not 100% happy with in our Satisfaction Guarantee.

We’re hosting the following tasting events in 300 of our stores across the country where customers can sample the pick of our crop and learn more about the lengths we go to when sourcing the very best produce around.

Friday 6th July & Saturday 14th July – Strawberry kebab
We taste over 100 varieties every week to choose the best and we aim to get them from field to store in less than 24 hours.

Saturday 7th July & Friday 13th July – Romaine wrap
We ensure we pick our lettuce when the air is cool, to keep the products fresh and crisp.

Friday 13th July & Friday 20th July – Plum nutty nest
We select the best available varieties to guarantee our plums have the sweetest flavour

Saturday 14th July – Nectarine salad
We source our nectarines from different regions of Italy and Spain and keep them at just the right temperature so they’re sweet and juicy.

Friday 20th July – Cherry nests
Picota cherries are grown uniquely in the “Valle de Jerte” or Jerte Valley in middle of Spain and handpicked daily for freshness.
