Asda meat team compete in World BBQ championships in Memphis

We think our Butcher’s Selection BBQ range is world class – and so we took it to Memphis, Tennessee to compete in the World BBQ Championships.

It’s rare for a British team to compete in the championships and competition among the 200 BBQ teams was fierce. Our meat team cooked up a series of tasty dishes over two days using meat from our Butcher’s Selection range. Watch the video above to see how they got on.

The judges were particularly impressed by our Butcher’s Selection Sweet BBQ Pork Rib Rack which scored two perfect 10s and a 9.9. If you’d like to try them for yourself they’re on offer at two packs for £6. Other flavours include Smoky BBQ Ribs and BBQ Ribs Honey Mustard.
