Newly-wed Trisha stocks up at her local Asda - in her wedding dress

Newly-wed Trisha Lunt turned heads when she popped into Asda Winsford in her wedding dress!

Trisha, bridesmaid Angela and three friends stopped off to stock up on drinks and snacks after the wedding reception in Cheshire last month before carrying on the celebrations at a friend’s house.

Her friend Ben Ireson was with her and posted this picture (above) of her on Twitter.

Trisha, a childminder, and husband Jamie, a roofer, had a beach wedding in the Dominican Republic last month. They celebrated with a wedding reception in Cheshire on June 21st for family and friends including their seven-year-old daughter Jessica and Trisha’s eldest daughter Amy.

Trisha, who regularly shops at Asda Winsford, said: "We stopped the taxi on the way to my friend’s house to go to Asda and got some funny looks when I turned up in my wedding dress!

“The staff there are brilliant – so polite and helpful, it’s like a family atmosphere. Nothing’s too much trouble. I wouldn’t shop anywhere else!”
