One of the original high-tech innovators since 1948, Polaroid is best known for its iconic range of instant cameras. Now celebrating its 75th year, Polaroid has expanded beyond photography into TVs, home theatre systems and iPod compatible audio equipment.
Technology first developed by Polaroid founder Edwin H. Land is at the heart of most modern TVs. Special polarising filters inside every LCD TV were originally developed in Polaroid laboratories.
Among the new range is a 42" high-definition 3D TV which, at £399, is around half the price of many similar models.
With a full range of connectors, including 3 HDMI sockets, this full HD TV offers the flexibility to connect Blu-ray and DVD players. It comes with four pairs of 3D glasses.
For movie lovers, also included in the range is the Polaroid STS8317W 5.1ch DVD Home Theatre system, which features HDMI digital output up to 1080p resolution, Dolby 5.1 surround sound and a digital tuner.

This sleek system has a dock compatible with iPod and iPhone which charges and plays at the same time.
