Baby's first word is "Asda" - watch the moment captured on video!

Imogen with parents Rachel and Mark

Little Imogen Barnes is only five months old but she has already said her first word – not “Mama” or “Dada” but “Asda”!

Grandma Sandra caught the moment on camera as she was talking to her about going to the supermarket – watch it here:

Mum Rachel said: "She was looking after Imogen and filmed loads of videos on her phone because Imogen had found her voice and was babbling away.

“As soon as I came home Mum said ‘Oh my God you have got to look at this video!’

“I couldn’t believe it when Imogen said “Asda”. She said it twice. It was her first word and she hasn’t said anything else since!"

Imogen and her parents, Rachel and Mark, live in Valley Park near Southampton. The family regularly shop at nearby Asda Eastleigh.

Rachel, who is on maternity leave from her job as an accounts assistant, said: "I’m always at Asda! We do all our food shopping there and I love the George baby outfits too. They’re really good quality.

“I’ve been showing the video to people and everyone says ‘you should send that to Asda!’”
