Asda is best value supermarket for your Christmas shop - it's official!

We’re the cheapest supermarket for your big Christmas shop for the third year in a row, according to an independent survey by The Grocer magazine.

They compared a festive basket of shopping across all the major supermarkets and found we were up to £40 cheaper.

Their basket of 33 items included Christmas crackers, a whole turkey, Champagne and a Christmas pudding – the same shopping cost just £127.40 at Asda, £131.72 at Morrisons, £137.25 at Tesco, £148 at Sainsbury’s, and a whopping £167.44 at Waitrose.
