Asda Foundation gets a Big Tick from Business in the Community

We’re delighted to announce that the great work of the Asda Foundation has been recognised by Business in the Community who have awarded us their prestigious Big Tick.

A Big Tick celebrates excellence in responsible business practice, and it’s our work on the OnRoute Mobile Youth Provision scheme that caught the eye.

OnRoute is a partnership involving national and local businesses and voluntary organisations working together to provide mobile support to young people in deprived areas. This includes travelling to neighbourhoods to meet young people and encourage their involvement in education and training – and raising their aspirations to gaining employment.

We received our Big Tick trophy at the recent Yorkshire and Humber Awards, where we also scooped the Jaguar Land Rover Building Stronger Communities prize.
