Fish Made Simple

We've made our Fish Made Simple range even better - in store now!

If you love fresh fish but are put off preparing and cooking it at home you’ll love our Fish Made Simple range – which is now even bigger and better value than ever!

Our friendly fishmongers will help you choose your fish, select a marinade, sauce or topping, and pack it up ready to be popped into the oven or microwave. And it’s great value – buy two fish for just £4 and we’ll prepare it just the way you like it for free. Asda fishmonger Darren Wrend explains how in his video above – or follow these three easy steps:

Cod and tartare sauce1. Choose your fish
Visit your in-store Asda fish counter and choose a fish portion from our Fish Made Simple range. There are 22 options available for just £2.50 a portion including new options like haddock parcels, plaice parcels, cod parcels and butterfly trout. Here we’ve chosen cod (left) with tartare sauce, served with chunky chips and mushy peas.

Haddock in lemon and pepper butter2. Pick a flavour
Select your free Chosen by you butter, marinade, sauce or crumb topping to go with your fish. There are 13 options to choose from and our colleagues can help you choose the perfect match – including haddock (pictured right) with a lemon and pepper butter to serve with salad and roasted new potatoes. Yum!

Salmon with cool salsa3. Cook it at home
We’ll package your fish in a bag so it’s easy to cook in the oven or microwave, or in a foil tray for the barbecue (whenever we get some sunshine!). Just follow the simple instructions on the back of the pack. We love salmon with cool salsa (left) which is great served with rice and pak choi.

There are 200 different combinations to choose from – with flavours including sweet chilli, spicy cajun crumbs and pepper butter. It really is simple – the only difficult part is choosing which combination to go for!
