Ulster Girls Championship at Moyola Park!
Day one I played 18 holes stroke and shot 84. It wasn’t my best round of golf but I qualified for the plate matchplay competition. I was straight back out to play the first round of match play. I won my first match 3/2 which led me into the semi finals. I won my semi final match with a great victory of 9/8 and I won the finals also 4/2. Overall played very well in my Matchplay rounds and was very pleased to be the winner of the MC Loud Cup!

My most prestigious win so far!
I played my best golf this year at Waterford golf club during the Irish girls championship! I qualified for the plate competition and won 4 matches to be the winner of the pat fletcher trophy!
Here is the write up off the ILGU website about my last match…
‘’Sarah Boden (Kilkeel) won the Pat Fletcher Plate trophy by 1 hole. Sarah was down for much of the match to impressive play by Chloe Weir (Shandon Park). Chloe was 3up through 11 but Sarah won the 12th and 15th with birdies, levelled the match on the 16th, won the 17th to go 1up and won out on the 18th. ’’
And here is the link for more information!
After all my hard work and practice this year I am happy to find out that I have been selected as a member of the Ulster Girls U18 team who will play at the inter-provincials in Mayo on 22nd-23rd of August! :)
First competition of the season and I shot two steady rounds at Royal Co. Down. I shot 83 83 (par 76) and got my handicap cut down to 5.5. Was very happy with my performance and hope to keep this up during this season!
