2 weeks ago I went to the Europeans in the Netherlands, this was my second time going with the British team to the Europeans. I came 6th in the overall, joint 8th in slalom and 5th in jump and I got the best result of the U14 team, the U14 team came 4th. I had a great time and was a great oppourtunity to meet up with all of my freinds from the other 24 other counteries. Also I have had my second fundraiser at ASDA and I did a bike ride for 4 hours and we raised £170!

I have had a really tough past few weeks because I have been newly diagnosed with type 1 diabetes but as I have started to get used to it, it hasn’t affected my water skiing at all. But after being in hospital for two days I went to the U14 nationals and came 1st in slalom, jump and overall but then I came 2nd in tricks. Also last week I got a letter from the British water ski federation and I have been chosen the represent the British team in the europeans and this year it’s in the Netherlands. But I have to say than you to ASDA north hykeham for raising nearly £600 pounds.
This was my first fundraising at my asda store it went really well even though it was only a get to know me day, we raised £143 which is an amazing amount and i have to say a big thankyou to my community life officer Nigel and my parents.
This is me in the dicipline of slalom with the go pro getting ready for the youth nationals. I also just had a competition at the weekend and came 1st overall, 1st in jump, 2nd in slalom closely, and 2nd in tricks and im very happy with it.
I would love to thank nigel for getting me started by getting all of the dates for fundrasing. Also, thankyou for getting the ball rolling by getting me £100.

Hi, my name is Robert Hazelwood and have been newly diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. I do 3 events which are jumping (my favourite), slalom, and tricks. For the last three years I have been representing in higher age category, and then last year when I was in Ukraine I came 3rd place in the U14's overall. Also I am the U12 British slalom record holder which I achieved last year.
