Asda Athletes

The last week has to have been one of the busiest of my life!!

Last Friday I had a great time coaching again at Rushden Cricket Club where I witnessed one of the closest kwick cricket matches ever!!!

From Monday to Friday I took part in the EWDP U19 tournament which was held at Wellington College. I had a great time and it was a fantastic oppourtunity to compete with the best in the country at my age group and to show what I can do. A personal highlight for me was scoring 41 not out and seeing my team home to victory.

On top of all that, I also recieved my A-Level results and am delighted to be going to the University of Leicester to study Physics with Astrophysics, I can’t wait!!!

I had great fun tonight coaching at my partnered store linked club. I was really impressed by the hard work that all the children put into their training especially the two keepers I worked with.

At Lord’s yesterday with my club team, Burton Latimer, for the National Finals of the ECB Womens National Indoor KO Cup. We had a great day and finished as runners up!!!

Had a fantastic time on Monday at the workshop, it was great to meet so many talented athletes and the talk by Derek Redmond was inspirational. Thank you ASDA and SportsAid!
