It was just a typical Friday morning training session at the rink when i was asked to go for an interview with UTV, for their top story on the news at 6, about the Olympic Torch Relay and a little bit about how i got nominated, through ice skating! Was such a pleasure meeting Niall Donnelly & the camera man Albert!

On the 7th May 2012 I was one of many who thought it would be a brilliant idea to run around Belfast for a few miles in the pouring rain! But on the plus side i ran just over 3 miles and raised over £200 with my friend Siona for ‘Mary Peters’ Trust’! Cant wait for round two next year!

Well at the start of the year when I joined Asda Atletes I quoted, “My target is get a new personal best score in Barcelona this year!” … and I can offically say I achieved it! I still believe i can do better and I have alot more work to do before the year is done. Altough I am happy with the progression I have made so far!
