As we failed the qualify through to Phase 2 with England Under 17’s, all of the older players had to move up to Under 19’s.

Luckily I was selected for the Under 19’s in October, in which we played a game against Sweden at St George’s Park. We drew the game 1-1 and then won of penalties!

I have recently just returned from St George’s Park again, this time we played a friendly against Denmark, unfortunately we lost the game 3-1 and they out played us.

It was a great experience being selected and playing in both camps, and was good to see how the pace of play differed from the younger age group.

Been selected for the England Under17’s UEFA Phase 1 squad! The squad will be heading to Northern Ireland on the 6th of September, looking to qualify through the first round. I was delighted to be selected and I just hope that we do the country proud!

We will spend 11 days in N.Ireland in total, playing 3 games against Israel, Italy and Northern Ireland themselves. Hopefully we will have as such success as last year in qualifying to Phase 2, and hopefully be able to proceed further on in the competition.

As I will be missing quite a large chunk of Sixth Form (Year12), I will have to take work away with me so that I do not fall behind in my new school year!

I am so excited to go, and just need to get my packing done! I’ll update you on how we’re doing throughout the tournament, wish us luck!

Not long ago I got back from an England Under 17’s camp. The camp was held at Warkwick university which is an Army College, the college had great facilities with excellent pitches.

The camp was mainly about selection for Phase 1 and prioritisation for the bronze, silver and gold system put in by the The Fa. Within the camp we played two training matches to help show the coaches what we were capable of.

The camp was really enjoyable as always and all the girls performed well. As the camp only ended up having 21 players, all of the girls bonded well and got to know each other much better.

Two days later we had fitness testing, it was a tough day but it needed to be done to see if we had improved over summer. Our next programme will now be geared to what we individually need to work on, so we can have a bigger impact on the team as a whole.

Well I have been selected for an Under 17’s training camp, which I go to tomorrow. The camp is based in Birmingham at Welbeck College, we have been here before and it has great facilities. The training camp will mainly be for the coaches to select the 18 players they wish to take to the UEFA Phase 1 competition in September. The camp will bring all of the 24 girls together and help us to develop our skills as a team.

I have also started pre-season training at my club Manchester United and have our first game next Saturday, this should help us to see which areas need to be improved as a team and we can work on them throughout the season.

My new boots for the season have also arrived, they are so comfy and definitely worth the money, lets hope they help me get the ball in the back of the net! Take a look at them…

Had the final trial for my club – Manchester United, on saturday. All the team got together to help the coaches the final squad of 18 which they want!

Over the last two weeks I have also been doing my Level 1 Coaching Course, which included completing numerous tasks over two full weeekends. I have now completed the course and achieved my coaching badge which will hopefully lead me into coaching oppurtunities in the future!
