Finally started to play well now that it is the end of the season due to some tips and improvements on my game from my coach. I shot 5 under par on Saturday which helped our team to win charity day and then on Sunday I shot 5 over and level to win the scratch cup. These performances are helping me to build up my confidence going into the winter months which will hopefully continue into the next season aswell. I have bought recently a new putter and set if irons with the money that I have received off of Sportsaid and Asda and these will greatly benefit my game also.

I did my second store visit a couple of days ago and had a really good time with Hayley. We raised a lot of money and had fun doing it. I have also been playing in a few competitions such as the county u18’s championship which I played well in and qualified for the matchplay but didn’t play as I was in Harrogate for the north of England. I didn’t make the cut in this competition and picked up a back injury but I had fun and played decent just a few mistakes. The golfing season is coming to an end and its been a bit if a bad one for me due to a couple of injuries but I’ll be practising over the winter and wil come back even stronger next year. Than you Asda and sportsaid for all your help.
Really enjoyed yesterday at tibshelf festival with my asda community officer Hayley. We raised alot of money for the charity fields in trust which is to do with the queens jubille where fields are kept open and are not to be built on. I really enjoyed the day and look forward to raising more money with asda.
Just an update on the past few weeks. I played in the henry cooper junior masters trophy at nizels golf club. I shot 4 over level and made the cut but then shot 13 over on the last day with heavy rain and delays. I also played in the midland boys at oundall golf club and shot 2 over 5 over which wasnt too bad. This week i am currently playing in the midland youths and i have shot 5 over 1 over to make the cut and so i am playing 36 holes today. I have also been asked by england to represent them in the nations cup at the mcgregor trophy in kent, trevose. I am also looking forward to the 21st of july as i will be helping to funraise at an event in tibshelf with my asda partner hayley looking forward to a great day and getting to know her
Just an update on how i am doing, a couple of weeks ago i won the best gross score, 72, at springwater golf club in the cyril sellick. It was a tough day as the wind was up and the greens were fast but i played well. Also i finished second overall in the gedling borough challenge with a stableford score of 37 points. I am currently playing very well at the moment and i feel good about my swing. I have a few major competitions coming up in the next few momths so i’ll keep you up to date on how i do in those. Finally i would like to thank asda athletes for the funding they have given me as this will help with the up and coming costs of travel and acoomodation at the major tournaments.
