I play Basketball at national level for England and one of the best club teams in England Haringay Angels, received MVP for u16’s last year after i averaged a point a minute.
I have big ambitions to play basketball in America next year whilst also balancing my studies and looking to execute and exceed expectations in subjects but also my sport.

My name is Janice Monakana. I live in Hornsey with my family. I have been playing basketball with Haringey Angles for 6 years. I have also been playing for the England National team since 2009. I am currently in full time education; I am studying English Literature, psychology, sociology and media studies. At the moment I am working towards perfecting my talent so that I can play on an international level. My ultimate goal is to represent Great Britain; Hopefully I will be able to do this at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
