Attended another Talent ID at Bolton arena. A tough day where I was put through my paces. I had to do a series of fitness tests which included sprinting, agility tests, standing jumps and ball throwing. I felt very comfortable in all the tests. In the afternoon we did match play where the LTA talent team watched everyone put the skills we showed off earlier in the day into a match situation. All these scores will be processed and the LTA will give me a matrix number. They will also watch my winter schedule to see how I perform over the next six months. All the results will determine my matrix band and ultimately my funding. Hope it goes well.

Traveled up to Glasgow with the Welsh team on Friday 14th armed with our inflatable hands and daffodils and the flag. Over the two days we played two singles and two doubles matches. There was great rivalry amongst the countries. The whole team performed well which saw us come 2nd behind Scotland.

I competed in the Welsh Junior Championships which was held in Cardiff. I entered the U12 & U14 age groups. The event lasted for 6 days. I got to the finals in both age groups where the finals were all held on the same day. I won the U12 age group winning 6-0, 6-0, and came runner-up in the U14’s and won the U12 doubles. Looking forward now to the home nations event which is being held in Glasgow in a couple of weeks against Scotland and Ireland.

Just finished Caernarfon Open, which lasted for four days. Played really well in the final winning 6-2 6-2. Now preparing myself for the Aegon Junior Nationals which is in Bournemouth. In the process of packing my suitcase as I leave tomorrow. Wish me luck;D
Just played in the Bournemouth Open in the under 12’s and in the 14’s, I was out 1st round in 14’s but played well and I went through to the 3rd round in the 12’s again playing well on clay. Looking forward to going back to Bournemouth for the under 12 nationals in 2 weeks time.

I started Tennis when I was 4 years old. I train at Wrexham Tennis Academy four nights a week. I have represented Wales and also Team GB. I am working very hard to achieve a Junior European ranking. One of my greatest achievements was winning the Junior International tournament at Solihull in Birmingham. One goal of mine is to play in Junior Wimbledon.
