I have been selected from all the tennis players in England to become an ambassador for Britain’s sporting equals. This means I will be a role model for all young and up and coming tennis players and encourage players of diverse ethnicity to play. I hope I will be a strong role model.

My name is Eden Silva, I'm 16 years old and I play tennis full time. I live and was born in London. My goal is to compete at the Olympics (London 2012 was too early for me) and to win Wimbledon... a few times. I train very hard and tennis is my life but I do love hanging out with friends and shopping. I am training very hard and preparing myself for the WTA.
