Just completed my first two tournaments of the year having just sat my prelims for my Standard Grade exams in January.

The first tournament was the Ladies Scottish Open where I picked up the title.Overall I was pleased with my performance as I felt that some of the tactical elements to my game that I am working on in practise are now coming through in my match play.

The second tournament was the British under 18 National Tour Finals.I was runner up in this event.I was pleased with my performance up until the finals where I felt I let my nerves get the better of me.It’s all a learning curve!

This week I am competing in an ITF under 18 event in Holland
