I’m happy to tell everyone… we once again beat the Germans.

Next… the Hungarians! Ahhh!

We fly out on Thursday, and i’m a little bit more than scared! However, we’ll give them a good go, and see what happens.

Travelling completely takes it out of me.

9 and a half hours of travelling after a 2 and a half hour training session is utterly draining. However, totally worth it!

So we beat the Hungarian 95 team by quite a margin, which was surprising to quite a lot of the team… because if there’s one thing the Hungarians are good at, it’s water polo.

The team has been cut down the the official 13 that will we going to Europeans in just under 2 weeks time. Having 2 people from the team cut was awful, the whole team was so upset, but we knew it had to happen.

However, we have a chance to try out the new team at the Theonville tournament in France which I’ll be leaving for on Thursday, bright and early at quarter past 5 in the morning… fantastic.

First game is Russia and I am petrified.

We’re going to need all the luck we can get, so if everyone can keep theirs fingers (and toes) crossed for us, I’d be extremely grateful.

Once again I’m home… but only for 3 days then I have to leave to fly to Ukraine for European.

I’ve just got home from our warm-up tournament… which (considering it was the teams first official tournament together) we didn’t do to bad in.

We drew with France 9-9… but we should have won, we just didn’t play well at all.

We thrashed Germany 14-4… which isn’t our best result against them, I played the 2nd half of this game and didn’t let a single goal in. :D Then we lost to Russia 15-4… we shouldn’t have lost by this much, not because Russia are bad because they’re not… but because if we beat them by less than 8 goals we would come 2nd ahead of France, but the French referee made sure that we didn’t by giving away numerous Man-Ups to the Russians for nothing. Even though the score seem bad, the team actually played extremely well in this game. :)

I’m still trying to persuade my Mum to let me take my laptop away to Europeans… if she allows me I’ll try and keep you up to date on how the tournament goes.
