Yesterday seen the stage of my first outing of the season to a wet, cold and windy Meadowbank stadium in Edinburgh for the Mens League. The challenging conditions made it very unlikely for any good performance to be made therefore the main goal for the day was to try and collect as many points as possible for my club – Falkirk Victoria Harriers. As expected my performances were poor, but i managed to scrape 3rd place in the Triple Jump – which is respectable as this is a senior competition.

This weekend a twelve hour round trip to Liverpool for the National Junior Athletics League ended in dramatically. I travelled down on saturday with my competition being on sunday. Unfortunately due to terrible weather conditions, the competition was cancelled very early on during the competition due to safety reasons for athletes.
