Just been in Asda in Bury to see the lovely Liz Seymour about some possible dates for fundraising. Got 2 definite days sorted which will definitely be fun.
Looking forward to getting back into the action again for the second year. Will be fun, especially with the new green bike to match my team kit and the Asda logo. This year is gonna be a good one, I can feel it!
Today is all about having fun. I’ve been given the opportunity to do some Tandem Piloting. I’ve been looking forward to this since I was told about it!
Basically, I’m going on the front of a bike made for 2 people with a partially blind person on the back and sprinting as fast as we can around an oval track.
Not something you do every weekend
To say I started tandem riding on Saturday and had a total of 8 hours practice I have, as has my stoker (guy on the back), improved massively!
No crashes, no damages, just a lot of adrenalin, fun and experience.
Can’t wait to do it all again at the UK School Games in May!
If I can get any pictures I will post them on here

When we’re having weather as good as this and the roads are your training grounds cycling is an amazing sport to be a part of! Gotta love a road ride in the sun!

Another beautiful day in the sunshine with yet another bike ride. Got my racing bike out again for the first time in a while and predictably, I punctured.
Ah well, just another hands on job but me and my Dad had a good hour and three quarters out on the roads.
This is my resprayed road bike (looks like my track bike but this one has brakes).
Hopefully more fun in the sun to come!
