I haven’t been able to update this in ages as I’ve been super busy. Anyway, I was at a training camp a few weeks back in Laax with the GB team and it was amazing!! I was getting trained by Dan Wakeham. He was really helpfully and got me to try the 60ft jump which I’m not sure I would have done without his help. I will try to get some photos up of the camp. The next week was the British championships. I was competing in halfpipe, big air and slopestyle. I managed to land both of my big air runs which got me 3rd so i was really happy. The next day was halfpipe. I landed my run a few times in practice but unfortunately scrubbed out on my runs. I still managed to get 4th in my category though. The final day was slopestyle. I injured myself pretty badly during practice when I went way to fast and landed on my back. I still managed to land one of my runs though which got me 3rd so I was still super happy.

I also did lots of stuff with sponsors like I got some photos done with grenade (my glove sponsor) and I think I am getting some new gloves from them so thanks Nick! I also did lots of stuff with James Fuller From Salomon which was really fun I have already put the videos that I made with them in my last post so please take a look!

That’s pretty much all the stuff that happened during my time in Laxx. Pretty soon there should by another blog up about the Scottish championship.

I’ve been super busy again and havnt been able to update the blog in a while but here it is now. I was at the final part of the Scottish championships in cairngorm recently to compete in the 13-16 category. The weather wasn’t the best but it was manageable. I managed to land my first run so i was already happy. I then stepped it up on my second run and landed that too so I felt good :). I didn’t manage to get my final run but I wasn’t too bothered about that. I went down the mountain after a few fun runs on the course. Getting down the mountain probably involved more walking than snowboarding as all the snow had began to melt :(. Once I had finally made it to the bottom I went indoors for the prize giving. It turned out that my second run had gotten me 1st in my category! It was such a fun comp despite the weather not being too good.

The week after the comp I went back up to ride for a few days and then enter a comp at the end. I will get that up as soon as I can in my next blog but right now I need to go for breakfast :)
