sorry it’s been a while!! after getting selected for the europien juniors at british champs i went to Helsinki, Finland to compete in the European Juniors. they took place in july. I swam on the Great Britain team for the 50, 100 and 200 backstroke, i made 2 finals and came 9th and 10th, i also came 8th in the 200 but wasnt allowed through to the semis as only top 2 british are allowed through and 3 british people beat me. In the 50 i equalled the british record for the 14 year olds. i had a great time and it was an amazing experience for me!

after equalling the 50 backstroke british record in helsinki i wanted to have it for myself. at senior nationals i broke it in the final going 29.69 when the record was previously 29.97.
