Less than a month till Gran Canaria now! Unfortunately, I am not entered for Saturday’s Scottish champs but oh well, still got the whole season to go!

Sadly had to sit and watch the U20’s/U17’s champs on Saturday but watched two of my friends and training partners become Scottish champions which can only bode well for everyone involved in our squad for the forthcoming season. I’ve had a really good week training-wise, and was very happy with the two track sessions on Tuesday and Thursday, despite the gale force winds on Thursday and the torrential rain on my 40min run on Wednesday.

I just can’t wait to get on that plane to Gran Canaria and train, train, train in the nice hot sun.

Was at the Pitreavie AAC annual awards night ceremony last weekend and won “Best Performance by an U17male” for the 400m Hurdle run at the UKSG and also won the ‘Young athlete of the year’ honour.

Also, I go away to Gran Canaria in nearly 3 days! cant wait to get out in the sun and train all day!
