A busy Summer which ended really well! I competed in the British nationals Under 16 Event and reached the Singles semi-final and won the Doubles with my partner Harriet.Overall, I was really pleased with the way I played.The only down side was the rain! The event is normally played outside on the clay courts but unfortunately,due to the rain some of the matches had to be played inside which is tough to adapt to as playing inside on hard court is totally different from playing outside on the clay.

When I returned from Nationals there was an e-mail waiting for me to say I had been selected to compete for Scotland(at under 18 level)at the Home Nations event to be held in Dublin this weekend.I was so pleased! It is a real honor to play for your country and team events are really enjoyable and great to be a part of.We will compete against Wales and Ireland and I will let you know how we get on!
