This weekend I was fencing in the Under 16 age group in all 3 Weapons at the BYC’s in Sheffield. On the Saturday I got off to a bad start as I only won 1 poule fight out of 4 in the Ladies Sabre. But in the Direct Elimination Rounds I never lost all day! So totally happy at now being British U-16 Ladies Sabre Champion :)!

Unfortunately on the Sunday in the Ladies Epee I failed to fence to my full potential and only achieved 14th.

Monday I was finally fencing the weapon I enjoy the most, Foil.
My age group in this weapon is a pretty fierce competition. Got myself into a good position by winning all of my poule fights and was ranked 3rd going into the DE’s. Really happy with my days fencing as I made it through to the semi-finals and gained a 3rd Place Bronze.

Heres the News Update I promised you: The May Senior Womans British Foil Rankings have been published and I am now sitting at 19th!!!
