I have been selected to represent Scotland at the 2012 School Games, this will be my 3rd Year in a row that I’ve been in the Girls Foil Squad.

But this year it’s being held in London at the Olympic Venues, the picture is of the Pistes in the Excel Building.

I’ll also be back at the Excel during the Olympics helping out as a Young Games Maker during the Womans Foil Events.

Went along to Hampden to collect my initial funding. Had a great day, and I just want to thank Asda for their continued support.

I’m afraid that the money is already spent lol…But replaced a lot of my tired equipment; got 2 new Foils (swords), new shoes, and a new and bigger kit bag.

Just as well I got the 2 new Foils, as I have broken 2 in the last week and a half!!!
Eeeek :(

Been really busy continuing my training and working to get rid of a tight tendon I have picked up.

It’s almost the end of the Fencing Season, but I’ve still been competing in Adult Competitions.

Nottingham Senior Womans Foil Open – 3rd Bronze.

Edinburgh Senior Womans Foil Open – 1st Gold.

Glasgow Senior Womans Foil Open – 3rd Bronze.

Birmingham International Senior Womans Foil Open – 2nd Silver.

So because of the Points I’ll pick up from the Birmingham I’ll be 11th in the GB Womans Foil Senior Rankings at the end of the month :) totally happy with that.

I have been pretty busy with Comps and Training recently and I totally forgot to let you know that I won the 2011 Asda St Leonard’s Trophy for Dunfermline & West Fife Young Sports Person. So that’s 2 Years in a row, and the great thing this Year is – I’m the sole winner :)

On Saturday there I was down in Leeds fencing in the Senior Womans Foil Uhlmann Cup and came away with 1st Place Gold.

A week and a half to go to the British Youth Champ’s and School Games so you’ll hear from me soon.
