Hi all,

After a lot of deliberation and looking at forecasts, I decided to go to Rutland near Leicester to take part in the tiger trophy.
When I got there it was a cool -3 when we got onto the water. the first day was fleet racing and i posted a 27, 29 and a (43). this left me in 35th over night and first in class by a long way.

Over night it had snowed and when i got to my boat in the morning wearing everything i had as it was -8!, i had to dig it out!!! so we all launched into the freezing water to try and get to the start but there was one problem….. there was no wind!!!!! in the end i finished 63rd which left me 37th overall out of 140 boats! I also walked away with a prize for 1st in class.

Next event I should be going to is the Draycote Dash at the end of this month.
