back after a long gap – first it was exams, then a summer full of training – went to the first National Academy summer training – not much fencing but lots of preparation, strength and conditioning – fun being with fencers from other weapons as well as epee -now the new season has started – lots of comps in the spce of a few weeks. best result so far 3rd at the Manchester Cadet (U17) comp. glad to be selected for the first two GB squad foreign comps in Germany and France next month – will try to blog again soon!

Busy half term with elite epee senior mens competition last weekend – came 21st (not too bad – its a tough competition) and London team trophy yesterday – my team Brixton got silver after a close match with Imperial College 45-42 they had an awesome Italian fencer on their team. Lots of comps coming up in November – newcastle, Bonn and Challons in France
