The European championships, Madrid, 2011.

This was the one competition that really meant something to the whole team, coaches, supporters and everyone else…. this was our time to once again prove that we had what it takes to stand on that podium and prove we really do belong there and that we had worked so hard to get there.

we had some hard games but as a team we worked really hard and everyone was there for eachother and we pulled out on top !!

It was a hot week , amazing atmosphere, perfect venue…. and now a GOLD medal!!!

1st place for the GB’s Senior womens Canoe polo team :) well done girls! was an awesome week!!

Also … not only did my team come 1st but my older brothers team came 3rd :) so was really good to see him up on that podium too :) my other brother did well but didnt finish in podium place. mum and family was really proud of all three of us at this compertition :)

off to training now for next year !!!! :) speak soon ! xx
