It was all looking good. All my equipment had arrived, practice was going well and I was having the time of my life.

Until the morning of the qualification round. We were about 1/4 of our way through the round, when I was pulling my arrows out of the target when I sprained my left rhomboid :S I managed to complete the round :) putting ice and heat on my shoulder and seeing the team physio!

In the head to heads the next day I put up the best fight i possibly could, but the girl I was shooting against just beat me!!

Although I didn’t shoot well because of my shoulder, my team mates shot well with the cadet compound team winning (which I was part of, so I still came home with a gold :D), the mixed junior compound team gaining bronze medal and Georgie Brown winning the bronze medal match and coming 3rd.

It has been the best week of my life so far :) Sad that it ended :(
