Today I fly out to Malta for the Malta international. This is my first international match and I am really looking forward to it.
The other day I got the chance to put my media training I received from the ASDA Workshop, to the test when my local paper came down to the track to interview me about the workshop and my trip to Malta.

I will let you know how I get on in Malta when I return home.

Just returned from my first international. Great experience for me in a senior competition. I finished 4th out of everyone and 2nd out of the juniors so I was very pleased with that, a bit disappointed with the distance but I know what i’ve got to work on so hopefully should be jumping big again soon. I also was part of the 4×100m relay team we were all juniors and we came home with a silver and we had only had a quick 10 minute practice before, so we were all very chuffed with our performance.

Unfortunately on the way home some of us became very ill, but I can assure you that this wont stop me wanting to go abroad and compete again.
