The debate over biofuels continues in the UK and Europe. But in Brazil it’s a huge part of their economy. Bioethanol powered cars are widely available. The engine technology has advanced and the sugar cane crop that is the source is also spreading with increasing areas being devoted to it.

The Brazilian beef industry is one of the largest in the world and yet it is based on one breed the Nelore. The Nelore originates from India but is well adapted to the conditions in Brazil.

We’re all familiar with the urban myth, well there are also rural myths. One of which has been that fresh liquid milk is imported. Unfortunately, and despite ASDA’s commitment to British milk and dairy farming, sometimes these stories get linked with us.

The Yorkshire Post printed a story that stated that ASDA imported Polish milk. We haven’t and here’s their apology.
