The RSPCA Good Business Awards recognise the work of the corporate sector in improving the welfare of animals used in their products.

The George team has been working with suppliers on all aspects of procurement where animals are involved. In particular, working with suppliers to source only non mulesed merino wool and auditing the supply chain for footwear leather have been key activities over the last 12 months.

And it’s great that the effort of Joan and Adrian have been acknowledged by the RSPCA at this year’s Good Business Awards where George won the Large Retailer category. We’ve been able to prove that good value on price doesn’t have to come at the expense of our other values.
