Extra Special Nero d’Avola from Sicily was recommended by Fiona Beckett in The Guardian last weekend. You can read the review in this article.

This red wine is packed with ripe fruit flavours and Fiona recommends drinking it with pasta bakes and lasagne – it would also be great with BBQs.

It’s on rollback from 19th April at the bargain price of £5 so why not try something different?

Last week, Adolfo the winemaker from Cono Sur vineyards in Chile came to our head office to give a masterclass on his wines!

Here’s the Asda team, taking notes and tasting with Adolfo, who is in the suit. We tasted the lines we currently have in the range (Bicicleta Viognier, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir and Carmenere) and some wines from his other collections, including brand new products!

We also got to quiz him after the tasting and here is some of the interesting information we found out:
