Exciting news hot off the press………a top wine blogger from the Knackered Mother’s Wine Club has recommended Asda Vintage Champagne 2002 quoting it as a ‘gorgeous Champagne, with properly good biscuity and lemon flavours. Made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes, it is so much smarter than I expected.’
As well as this, we’re really proud of the fact it has won 2 Gold Medals (Decanter and IWC) and is great value for money at £20.17 – Why not treat your mum to something ‘Extra Special’ this Mother’s Day!

Saturday 17th March, customers and colleagues were treated to a number of ‘St Patrick’s Day’ performances in a number of selected stores, from the the winners from our BWS ’Patrick’s Day’ local competition! The winners each received a cash prize and the chance to perform in store on the day – by looking at the photos, you can tell they all really enjoyed signing and dancing to the customers!

Our customers have been toasting the recent hot weather with rosé wine, as sales of the pink stuff have increased by 21% compared with last year!
The most popular rosé wines have been Californian White Zinfandel and Italian Rose, as well as The Cube rosé in a box which is perfect for ad hoc BBQs.
We have some great deals on Rose such as Blossom Hill White Zinfandel at £4 and Jacobs Creek Shiraz Rose rolled back from £7.48 to £5.00 – so why not make the most of this summery weather with a chilled glass of rosé…it’s sunshine in a glass!
