The wait is over - Wagyu beef now available in Asda stores

The long awaited Wagyu launched in store last week, and Charlie and Emma from the meat team went to Trafford Store to see the launch.

Jeremy who works on the Butchers Selection counter in the store, who used to run his own Butchers Store in Manchester commented saying “This really is excellent quality meat, and it’s really good that Asda have made it available so cheap.”

After some final quality checks, Emma gave the okay for Jeremy to merchandise the different Wagyu products on the counter.

The launch of Wagyu in store is the final stage of a three year project by Asda to bring the world most expensive beef to Asda customers. Read more here.
