We know lunchtime can be a struggle in January when you’re recovering from a Christmas eating fest… You want something that’s healthy but still tasty so you can lose those extra Christmas pounds painlessly! Well here’s some lunchtime choices from the chilled aisle to help you through:

Option 1

We know healthy eating can be bland so we’ve worked really hard with our supplier to develop a tasty NEW Chosen By You Snack pot for you! Cottage cheese is a great solution as it’s high in protein (keeping you feeling full for longer) but low in fat. The snack pot contains our usual GFY cottage cheese, 4 crackers and a generous helping of tangy tomato chutney which you can either stir into the cottage cheese or spoon on top of your crackers. Makes lunch a bit more interesting (but at less than 300cals and less than 3% fat)! Try it now while it’s only £1!

Last October, myself and the lovely Victoria (one of our Product Managers) got up at the crack of dawn, and caught the red eye from Leeds to London. We were to spend the day meeting journalists to talk about our fantastic new pies and soup ranges that we had recently launched. The train journey was spent swotting up by reading the magazines of the journalists we were about to meet, which included Good Housekeeping, Reveal, Best & Chat .

We spent the morning in the offices of Hearst and in the afternoon at IPC Media. At each location we set up an abundant display of our new soups and pies, whilst our Asda chefs started cooking up in the kitchen.

Once the journalists arrived, we talked to them about our new ‘Chosen by you whole and hearty’ soup range. These are a range of 400g soups which are more filling and form part of our ‘Perfect for lunch’ range. This is not a range that I normally work on and now personally buy them most days for my lunch! Not only are they all low in calories, they also have at least 1 of your 5 day. Perfect for that guilt free lunch!
