Extra Special Lemon Curd Yoghurt hits the spot with the judges

We won again last week at the esteemed Quality Food Awards held at the Park Plaza in Westminster… the Quality Awards are the most prestigious awards for food and drink products on sale in supermarkets…some may say the ‘Oscars Of Food’

My favourite, and also the judges it would appear, the Extra Special Lemon Curd Yoghurt won the Quality Food Award (or Q Award) in the Dairy & Milk Products category.

This indulgent treat is produced in the West Country using West Country milk and contains traditional lemon curd, lemon peel and concentrated lemon juice, whipping cream, free range eggs and contains no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.

The judging panel was impressed by the ‘great value for money’ for a premium product, by the clean ingredients lists, and also by the ‘zingy’ taste.

“You can really taste the zest in it – it’s delicious” commented one judge. “It’s lovely and refreshing, not too sweet. This really is extra special” said another. “I would definitely go back and buy it again”.

The product was felt to deliver best when served cold, straight from the pot. “It has a little sharpness and delectable lemon flavour on the tongue that fades away after eating” said one taster.

We are really pleased that our products continue to be recognised for their great quality by industry experts.
