Thanks to everyone who turned up for the Asda Active event. It started off a bit drizzly but then warmed up. It was slippy under foot but everyone seemed to have a good time doing football, rugby league, Kwik Cricket, athletics, martial arts, and even Zumba.

Kwik Cricket – ECB – email: email@example.com. Alternatively, join the local cricket club who provided cricket on the day – Connah’s Quay Cricket Club gave the coaching and any youngster wanting to play cricket can contact to club.To see it all explained click here
Martial Arts – Karate Kai gave excellent demonstrations on the day and anyone interested in getting involved can contact Mick Golden on 07920 055677. All ages welcome and they offer training in 7 different locations around the area.
Rugby – Widnes Vikings. They offer schools camps and rugby league coaching in the local community and anyone interested in playing rugby league can contact the community outreach coach Roger Harrison via the website or call Ben Morris on 075542 30215 for more details.
Zumba – With Netty Hodson. Netty provides a fun way to keep active with classes every day of the week at a variety of local centres.
